Sai Ram a tutti voi.
Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba è ora in terapia intensiva all’Istituto Superiore di Scienze Mediche Sri Sathya Sai, l’ospedale che ha costruito per i poveri e dove essi vengono curati gratuitamente. Egli soffre di problemi cardiaci e polmonari. Le Sue condizioni sono stabili. Vi sono stati dei miglioramenti, ma è ancora seriamente ammalato. Dall’eminente primario dell’ospedale, dottor A. N. Safaya, direttore dell’Istituto Superiore di Scienze Mediche Sri Sathya Sai, già sovrintendente medico dell’Istituto Panindiano di Scienze Mediche a Delhi, vengono trasmessi regolarmente i bollettini medici sulle Sue condizioni. Bhagavan Baba, il nostro Amato Swami, come noi Lo chiamiamo, ha, e ha sempre avuto sotto controllo, la vita umana che ha assunto. Egli ha, e ha sempre avuto sotto controllo, il Proprio destino in questa vita che Egli Stesso ha voluto a beneficio dell’umanità. Noi, che Gli siamo devoti, preghiamo che decida di rimettersi in salute e rimanere fra noi. Preghiamo che continui a offrirci insegnamenti, a ispirarci, benedirci e ad amarci come Madre e Padre Divini quali Egli è ed è sempre stato. Preghiamo che consenta a tutta l’umanità di compiere l’inevitabile viaggio spirituale che attende ciascuno di noi, il viaggio verso l’illuminazione e l’autorealizzazione.
Lo scorso novembre, il Presidente e il Primo Ministro indiani hanno fatto visita a Bhagavan Baba in occasione del Suo 85° Compleanno. Essi hanno espresso apprezzamento e reso omaggio alle monumentali opere umanitarie, che non hanno precedenti, e ai servizi resi da Baba in molti decenni:
Scuole Gratuite, dalle primarie all’università, fornendo istruzione terrena di alta qualità e istruzione spirituale mai prima offerta, comprendente i Valori Umani universali di Rettitudine, Verità, Pace, Amore e Non violenza, all’interno di programmi scolastici ad ogni livello.
Chi ha mai fatto una cosa simile?
Servizi medici gratuiti in ospedali mobili, ospedali generali e ospedali di alta specializzazione dove i poveri vengono curati tanto per malattie ordinarie quanto per complicate patologie mediche, trattamenti e operazioni chirurgiche. Tutto a titolo gratuito.
Chi ha mai fatto una cosa simile?
Ideare e costruire un sistema di bacini di raccolta, cisterne sopraelevate, pozzi e migliaia di miglia di tubature che portano acqua potabile a milioni di persone povere a costo zero per la gente e per il governo.
Chi ha mai fatto una cosa simile?
Altamente considerevole e degno di nota è il susseguirsi dell’unità dei cuori, il corteo delle qualità umane e dell’amore disinteressato, le persone buone che si sono unite per seguirLo. Esse si imbevono dei Suoi Divini Insegnamenti ed emulano i nobili esempi che Egli ha dato. Negli anni, persone provenienti da molti Paesi, che avevano un sogno, un sentimento, un pensiero o che udivano una voce, oppure leggevano un libro, sono state all’improvviso ispirate ad agire e a diventare Sue devote. Non c’era sollecitazione, pubblicità o campagna. Non c’era telefonata o invito scritto. Esse ricevevano il Messaggio del Divino, il nostro Amato Baba, da cuore a cuore. In tutto il mondo, ci sono centinaia di migliaia di devoti, forse milioni di persone buone, che trovano la luce del Suo Amore nel profondo del cuore, e che trasformano la loro vita in un faro di virtù.
Chi ha mai fatto una cosa simile?
Ora, Colui che è stato la Vera Fonte della bontà e della pietà, che ha insegnato e si è sacrificato per gli altri, che ha preso su di Sé una malattia seria viene, in alcuni luoghi, slealmente calunniato. Una litania di vecchie e scandalose accuse, dimostratesi negli anni ripetutamente false, vengono irresponsabilmente pubblicate. Come risultato, una moltitudine di cuori teneri soffre per tale insensibilità.
“Padre, perdona loro, poiché non sanno quello che fanno!”
Spero che giornalisti di mente nobile indaghino, trovino e scrivano sulla “più grande storia mai narrata”. Essi cercheranno la verità e l’umanità sarà “servita”. La cercheranno nelle lezioni di molti decenni impartite all’umanità dal nostro Amato Baba, attraverso le Sue Parole e le Sue Opere. Troveranno lezioni per la redenzione spirituale dell’umanità.
Preghiamo che Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba decida di rimanere con noi per la salvezza di tutti. Come Egli ha insegnato, e possiamo tutti sperimentarlo, ognuno di noi è figlio di Dio. Noi tutti siamo essenzialmente divini. Ognuno di noi si volga al proprio interno, trovi la luce dell’amore disinteressato, la luce che illumina. Possa ognuno di noi diventare, alla fine, quello che di nobile in realtà è, e comportarsi di conseguenza.

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is currently an intensive care patient at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, the hospital that He built for the poor who receive treatment there free of charge. He has cardiac and pulmonary problems. His condition is stable. There has been improvement, but he is still seriously ill. Medical reports of his condition are being given on a regular basis by the eminent Director of the Hospital, Dr. A. N. Safaya, Medical Director, Sri Sathya Sai Institute for Higher Medical Sciences, formerly the Medical Superintendant of the All India Institute for Medical Sciences in Delhi. Bhagavan Baba, our Beloved Swami as we refer to Him, is, and always has been, in control of the human life that He has assumed. He is, and always has been, in control of His own destiny in this life that He Himself ordained to take place for the benefit of mankind. We, who are devoted to Him, pray that He will decide to recover and remain amongst us. We pray that He will continue to teach us, inspire us, bless us, and love us as the Divine Mother and Father that He is and always has been. We pray that He will enable all of mankind to accomplish the inevitable spiritual journey that awaits each and every one of us, the journey toward enlightenment and self realization.
This last November, the President and Prime Minister of India visited Bhagavan Baba on occasion of His 85th Birthday. They acknowledged and paid homage to the monumental and unprecedented humanitarian accomplishments and services rendered by Baba over many decades:
Free Schools, primary through University level, providing high quality worldly education and unprecedented spiritual education, incorporating the universal human values: Right conduct, Truth, Peace, Love, and Non-violence, into the curriculum at all levels.
Who has ever done such a thing?
Free medical services in mobile hospitals, general hospitals, and super-specialty hospitals where the poor are treated for ordinary maladies as well as complicated medical diagnostic evaluations, treatments, and surgery. All free of charge.
Who has ever done such a thing?
Conceiving and building a system of reservoirs, overhead tanks, wells, and thousands of miles of pipes conducting pure water to millions of poor people at no cost to the people or the government.
Who has ever done such a thing?
Most noteworthy and awe inspiring, is the following of kindred hearts, the procession of human goodness and selfless love, the good people who have joined together to follow Him. They imbibe His Divine Teachings and emulate the noble examples that He has demonstrated. Over the years, people from many countries, who had a dream, or a feeling, or a thought, or heard a voice, or read a book, were all suddenly inspired to act and become His devotees. There was no solicitation, advertisement, or campaign. There was no telephone call or written invitation. They received the message promulgated by the Divine One, our Beloved Bhagavan Baba, heart to heart. There are hundreds of thousands of devotees all over the world, perhaps millions of good hearted people, finding the light of His love deep in their own hearts, transforming their lives into beacons of virtue.
Who has ever done such a thing?
Now, He, who has been the veritable source of goodness and godliness, who has taught and sacrificed for the people, who has taken upon Himself a serious illness, is being falsely maligned in some quarters. .
A litany of old, scandalous accusations , proven false repeatedly over the years, are published irresponsibly. Multitudes of tender hearts suffer as a result of this callousness.
“Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do!”
I am hopeful that noble minded journalists will seek, find, and write about the “greatest story ever told”. They will seek the truth and humanity will be served. They will find the truth in the lessons taught by our Beloved Bhagavan Baba to mankind through His Words and His Works over many decades. They will find lessons for the spiritual redemption of mankind.
Let us pray that Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba will decide to remain with us for the salvation of all. As He has taught, and may we all experience, that everyone of us are children of God. We are all essentially divine . Let each of us turn inward, find the light of selfless love, the light that enlightens. May each of us ultimately become the noble beings that we truly are and behave accordingly.
Let us all pray that Swami will hasten His recovery and move amongst us once more.
